Sirene ("we", "us", "our") is a kitchen design studio based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in connection with our design services and this website. We handle personal information with care and collect only what is needed to deliver the services you have requested or enquired about.

We collect personal data through our contact form, by email, and during project conversations. The types of data we may hold include:

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payments are handled through a third-party processor.
2. Why We Collect It and Legal Basis
We collect and process personal data for the following purposes and under the following legal bases under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia):
- To deliver services: Processing necessary to fulfil the brief session, documentation package, or sourcing and oversight service you have engaged us for (contract performance)
- To respond to enquiries: Responding to questions submitted through the contact form or by email (legitimate interest)
- To improve the website: Analysing site usage through anonymised analytics (legitimate interest)
- To communicate project updates: Sending written updates, revision documents, and responses during an active engagement (contract performance)
3. How Long We Retain Data
- Enquiry data where no engagement followed: deleted within 6 months of last contact
- Active project data: retained for the duration of the project plus 2 years for record-keeping purposes
- Brief notes and drawings: retained for 2 years after project completion, then securely deleted
- Website analytics data: retained for 13 months in aggregated, anonymised form
4. How We Protect Your Data
- Documents and client files stored on password-protected systems with access limited to project team members
- Email correspondence treated as confidential and not forwarded outside the project team without consent
- Third-party services (e.g. cloud storage, analytics) selected for their data handling standards
- No personal data sold or rented to third parties
5. Sharing with Third Parties
We share client data only where necessary to deliver the service. In the sourcing and oversight engagement, supplier shortlists may involve contact with cabinet makers and appliance suppliers. In such cases, only the information necessary for the sourcing process is shared (e.g. project specifications, not personal contact details unless explicitly authorised).
We use Google Analytics for website usage analysis. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not share identifiable client data with advertising networks.

7. Your Rights
