Damansara Perdana · Brief SessionWe were planning a full refit of a kitchen that hadn't been touched since the house was built. I went in expecting a layout presentation, but the session started with questions about how we actually cook — who cooks, when, what kind of meals. The written brief that came after was more useful than anything I'd put together on my own. The draft layout addressed things I hadn't thought to articulate.

Subang Jaya · Documentation PackageI'd already been given a quote by a cabinet maker but wanted documentation that I could actually compare quotes against. The package from Sirene gave me that. The drawings were detailed enough that the cabinet maker could price accurately, and when a second contractor quoted significantly lower it became clear why — the materials spec was different. Worth the fee just for that clarity.

Petaling Jaya · Sourcing & OversightMy husband and I both work full time and the kitchen was being done during a particularly busy period. Having someone manage the supplier side and visit the site during installation meant we weren't fielding calls about tap positions and tile grout colours at 9pm on a Tuesday. The final walk-through caught two things that needed to be fixed before handover. Not sure we'd have noticed them ourselves.

Shah Alam · Brief SessionI came with a rough idea and left with something I could actually hand to a contractor. The session covered things I hadn't considered — mainly how the kitchen connects to the utility area in our house, and whether the ventilation setup would actually work with the position we'd assumed for the hob. The materials note was short but the reasoning behind each recommendation was clear.

Mont Kiara · Documentation PackageThe documentation process was methodical — I appreciated that changes were confirmed in writing before anything was updated in the drawings. The revision rounds were enough to get to a result we were happy with. The 3D views were helpful for understanding how the island would sit in the space before the build started. A couple of communication turnarounds were slower than I'd hoped, but the output was solid.

Ampang · Sourcing & OversightWe used the sourcing and oversight service after completing the documentation package. The shortlist for the cooker hood alone saved us an afternoon of showroom visits — the options were narrowed down to three with notes on airflow, noise level, and compatibility with our layout. The pre-installation visit identified that the electrician had positioned a socket in the wrong place. That would have been a problem to fix after the cabinets were in.

The Situation
A 1990s apartment kitchen that had been modified twice by previous owners. The layout made some sense on its own but created a dead zone between the cooker and the sink that two people couldn't navigate around simultaneously. The client was also cooking more seriously than the current storage allowed for.
What Was Done
Brief session to understand how the space was being used, followed by a full documentation package that reconfigured the layout to move the cooker to the opposite wall. Materials schedule specified moisture-resistant laminate for the lower cabinets and a solid surface worktop over the hob area, both suited to the cooking style and humidity level of the building.
Outcome
New layout completed in five weeks. The dead zone was resolved by repositioning the hob and creating a continuous work surface between the two. Storage increased by approximately forty percent. The cabinet maker used the documentation directly without follow-up questions — first time the client had experienced that on a fit-out project.
"The documentation made it easy for our cabinet maker. He said he could see everything he needed. Usually there are phone calls." — Client, Cheras
The Situation
A new landed house with a kitchen space that had good proportions but no design direction. The developer's kitchen plan was a starting point only. The client cooked daily — Malaysian and some South Indian meals — and needed a layout that worked for high-heat cooking with good extraction, storage for bulk dry goods, and a prep area separate from the main cooking surface.
What Was Done
All three services used in sequence. The brief session produced a detailed workflow map. The documentation package resolved the extraction position and specified a gas cooker with commercial-weight grates. The sourcing service identified a cabinet maker with experience in high-heat kitchen environments and managed the material delivery schedule during a period when the client was travelling.
Outcome
Kitchen completed on time. The extraction was correctly positioned from the start, avoiding a rectification that would have required opening a wall cavity. The client was able to move in without a snagging list on the kitchen. Three months later, no changes or adjustments have been needed.
"I was travelling during part of the installation. Knowing someone was checking the site while I was away was the thing that made the whole period manageable." — Client, Kota Kemuning
